Who this course is for

This course is for learners who can already manage everyday conversations but want to expand their skills for work, travel, and social situations. If you can talk about your daily life, past experiences, and plans, but sometimes struggle to find the right words or grammar, this level is for you.

What you will learn (competencies)

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

• Understand the main points of clear speech on familiar topics like work, school, leisure, and travel.

• Take part in conversations on everyday topics, giving opinions and responding to others.

• Describe experiences, events, dreams, and ambitions, and briefly explain reasons or opinions.

• Deal with most travel situations in English-speaking countries (asking for information, making arrangements, solving simple problems).

• Read and understand texts that use common everyday or job-related language.

• Write connected texts such as emails, short reports, or stories about familiar subjects.

How you will learn (activities)

Lessons focus on fluency, accuracy, and building confidence. You will:

• Practise conversations in pairs and groups, with feedback on vocabulary and grammar.

• Do role-plays that simulate real-life scenarios (work meetings, social events, travel situations).

• Watch and discuss videos, news clips, and short stories to develop listening and speaking.

• Work on pronunciation to sound clearer and more natural.

• Take part in debates and discussions to practise expressing opinions.

• Complete guided writing tasks such as letters, reviews, and short reports.

Requirements

1. Completed Elementary English (A2) or equivalent knowledge.

2. A stable internet connection, computer/tablet, and a headset or earphones.

3. Motivation to practise speaking actively during and between lessons.

What to expect

After completing this level, you will:

• Speak more fluently and confidently in a range of everyday and social situations.

• Understand and use grammar structures like past, present, and future tenses with greater accuracy.

• Expand your vocabulary for both daily life and common work-related situations.

• Be ready to move on to Upper Intermediate English (B2).

• Enjoy improving your English with 3–10 classmates in a friendly online group.
