Who this course is for

This course is for learners who already communicate confidently in English but want to refine their skills for study, work, and travel. If you can follow conversations, read longer texts, and express yourself in detail—but still make mistakes with grammar or struggle with more complex discussions—this level is for you.

What you will learn (competencies)

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

• Understand the main ideas of complex texts, including articles, reports, and discussions on both concrete and abstract topics.

• Take part in extended conversations and discussions, expressing ideas clearly and supporting opinions with reasons.

• Communicate effectively and naturally with native speakers, even in spontaneous conversation.

• Write clear, detailed texts such as essays, formal emails, and reports.

• Follow TV programmes, films, and presentations in standard English without major difficulty.

• Use a wide range of vocabulary and grammar structures with more confidence and accuracy.

How you will learn (activities)

Lessons are dynamic and challenge you to go beyond the basics. You will:

• Practise debates, discussions, and problem-solving tasks with classmates.

• Analyse articles, short stories, and authentic media to expand vocabulary and critical thinking.

• Watch and discuss films, interviews, and news clips for listening and speaking practice.

• Refine grammar through communicative activities rather than memorisation.

• Practise writing structured texts (emails, reviews, reports, essays) with teacher feedback.

• Focus on pronunciation, fluency, and natural expression.

Requirements

1. Completed Intermediate English (B1) or equivalent knowledge.

2. A stable internet connection, computer/tablet, and a headset or earphones.

3. Willingness to take part in discussions and push your language beyond comfort zones.
